Pro Loader – DLL / Regedit Check

Before injecting, verify the loader's system hook is registered.

  • Open regedit and navigate to `Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{745057c7-f353-4f2d-a7ee-58434477730e}\InprocServer32`
  • Confirm a value named (Default) exists and equals `C:\Windows\System32\mfwmaaec.dll`
  • Check that `C:\Windows\System32\mfwmaaec.dll` is >= 1.5 MB in size
  • If either condition is not met, continue with the steps below

Pro Loader – Recovery Steps

Follow this order when the DLL / regedit check fails.

  • Close all antivirus programs (disable Defender via DControl) and other software
  • Open a console as administrator and run `sc start trustedinstaller`
  • Enable your VPN and keep it on from the launcher through to the cheat menu in-game
  • After injection, wait 15 seconds, then open Rust.exe in the game folder as administrator
